What Do Train Rides Mean in Your Dreams?

Last night I had a dream that I was traveling somewhere by train. The ordeal was that I was trying to get enough money together for a train ticket. I almost missed the train ride but I did get the money together, bought a ticket and boarded the train. This train was like an Amtrak train, not like a subway. I have no idea where I was going. The last thing that I remember in the dream is that I was sitting and enjoying the ride... then I woke up.

Seems like I have been having a lot of symbolic dreams as of late.

Research shows that the train ride may represent that I am striving for wholeness. This would make sense when I think about all that is going on in my life, business and personally.

I need to dig around a little more in my dream books. I love remembering my dreams and interpreting them.

I was under the impression that all dreams are symbolic. From what I remember from Freud's interpretation of dreams all dreams are fulfilling some desire, usually unconsciousness one. Don't remember him mentioning trains as specific symbol.
