Hillary I am Still Not Going to Vote for You

Tagged:

Dear Senator Hillary Clinton,

Congratulations on you winning the New Hampshire primaries.

It looks like all of the mudslinging at Barack Obama is paying off. Keep up the good work. Bill must have learned it from the best.

Other than that, I just wanted to inform you that you still suck and no matter what, you will never get a vote from me. Even if I have to vote Republican.

Sincerely,

Rashaan (aka Proud Registered Voter)

Ampicillin - capsules and oral suspension

Ciprofloxacin (Generic for Cipro) - tablets

Doxycycline - capsules

Erythromycin - tablets, oral suspension and capsules

Any money saved due to this free program will help out the family's expenses.

Help End World Hunger With FreeRice.com

My friend Rantz linked me to this site just a moment ago.

On the site, there is a free vocabulary game. For each word you get right, we donate 10 grains of rice through the United Nations to help end world hunger.

FreeRice.com states that they have donated 1,194,402,960 grains of rice since October 7, 2007.

I am up to 620 grains of rice donated since I started playing today. What a nice concept, to build my vocabulary and help someone end hunger at the same time. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Help Support the Gulf Coast Housing Recovery Act of 2007 (S. 1668)

Dear Missnexus.com Readers,

Finally, there's a bill in Congress that would help some of the hardest hit Katrina survivors come back home. Unfortunately, it is about to die because some members of the Senate think it's fine for certain New Orleanians--specifically those who are Black and poor--to be shut out of the city.

I just called on my senators to support the Gulf Coast Housing Recovery Act of 2007 (S. 1668). It would re-open desperately needed housing and make sure there is no loss of affordable public housing in New Orleans. Please join me by contacting your senators and check out powerful videos about the housing situation in New Orleans created by Brave New Foundation and as part of the Voices from the Gulf Project. It takes just a moment:

Saving Affordable Housing in New Orleans

New Orleans public housing residents have been fighting for over two years to return to apartments that were minimally damaged by the storm. But the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has shut them out, because it wants to demolish most of the available public housing units--and replace them with far fewer mixed-income housing. The vast majority of the most affordable public housing units, pushing thousands of mostly Black low-income residents out of the city.

S.1668 honors the right to return of all New Orleans public housing residents. It requires the re-opening of at least 3,000 public housing units and ensures that there is no net loss of units available and affordable to public housing residents. It also designates $1.7 billion for rental housing assistance and earmarks millions for community development programs, which will benefit an even larger segment of the lower income population. But the bill is in danger of dying -- because some senators are opposed to preserving affordable public housing.

Why I Will Not Vote For Hillary Clinton

You may have heard about this video by now as it is the number one video on Google Video. Titled, Hillary! Uncensored - Banned By The Media, it features entrepreneur Peter Paul releasing the truth about Hilary Clinton to the public.

At time stamp 2:50 into the video, Peter Paul states that, "his interest in supporting Hillary Clinton was specifically to hire Bill Clinton... and concocted a big fund raiser for Hilary." This concocted fund raiser brought in more than tens of thousands of dollars the Clinton campaign. Clinton conveniently left out millions of dollars that were donated to the 2000 Senate campaign. In 2006, Federal Election Commission, in response to a Judicial Watch complaint, fined Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign group $35,000 for failing to accurately report $721,895 in contributions from former Judicial Watch client Peter Paul.

Peter Paul does not have such a clean history himself, but I am not here to judge him. What I am trying to do is spread knowledge so people will know that the Clinton Campaign has a shady past and appears to have done everything they could to cover it up. I sincerely doubt that you will be seeing a video in this nature on any major network such as ABC, CBS or NBC evening news, anytime soon.

Countdown to Change...

Stop the Senate from Confirming Hans von Spakovsky

Dear Missnexus.com Readers,

I've learned from ColorOfChange.org that the Senate is about to vote on whether to confirm Hans von Spakovsky--one of the worst perpetrators of voter suppression in recent history--to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), an agency charged with enforcing election law. For far too long, the Republican party has suppressed the votes of Black people and other minorities, while the Democratic party has stood idly by and done nothing.

I've signed on with ColorOfChange.org to tell my senators that I expect them to reject von Spakovsky and condemn what he represents. Will you join me?

http://www.colorofchange.org/vonspak/?id=1815-298172

Republicans have been fighting for months to get von Spakovsky confirmed, and, last week, most Democrats in the Senate – including some who've spoken out against him -- were ready to cave to Republican pressure and let his nomination through without a fight. Thankfully, Senators Barack Obama and Russ Feingold stepped up and took a strong stand against his nomination, blocking a procedural move that would have tied von Spakovsky's nomination into a package with three other FEC nominees, guaranteeing his appointment. Now, Obama and Feingold need our support to convince their colleagues to take a stand against voter suppression.

It's sad that they should need any convincing at all, given von Spakovsky's history.

A long history of undermining our vote

During his first term, Bush installed von Spakovsky in the Justice Department's (DOJ) voting rights section, which enforces the Voting Rights Act. There, von Spakovsky undermined the DOJ's historic mission of protecting minority voting rights, and actually transformed the department into a tool to suppress the vote.

Al Gore Wins Nobel Peace Prize, Should He Run for President Now?

Congratulations to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Al Gore for winning the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize in their efforts to generate public concern and knowledge regarding global warming. Al Gore states that he will give his half of the $1.5 million Nobel Prize to the Alliance for Climate Protection, an organization he founded to persuade people to reduce global warming by cutting pollution.

Should Al Gore run for President now? The analyst in this video discusses the possibility of Al Gore being a cabinet member in a democratic office or even running for office in 2012.

I definitely do not see Al Gore as a cabinet member for anyone when he has already been Vice President of the United States. Running for President in 2012? Maybe, because a lot can happen within five years from now. For now, I see Al Gore continuing his mission of educating the public and raising the awareness about global warming.
