On Friday, September 14, William and Keisha turned three years old. Where have the three years gone? It seems like it was just yesterday when I proudly carried them in my womb, wobbling down the aisle with swollen feet and a smile on my face.

Three years later after Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 8:19 a.m., I am thankful the wobble and swollen feet are gone, but I still have a smile on my face. William and Keisha have gone through a great deal and accomplished so much during their second year of life. Contrary to pediatricians absurd recommendations, JT and I decided potty training is a necessity before age 5. Hundreds of diapers later, we have survived... William and Keisha are fully potty trained and in the big girl and boy classroom at daycare. Did you just see me do three backflips? The alphabet... you guys almost have it, you just get a little blurry around H but you pick up the pace soon after that.

I love to hear you sing songs such as Old McHaddold [sic], Itsy Bitsy Spiduh [sic], Twinkuh Twinkuh Little Stah [sic] and Blue Zoo Train. No one can sing the songs like my two bundles of joys. You know all of your colors, even some of those crazy ass made up ones in the Crayola box. You love the Disney Channel and actually prefer it over Sponge Bob SquarePants (thank God). William, your favorite snacks are cookies and chips... Keisha your favorite snack is ...well you are the finicky one of the two. You change your mind daily *smile*

You can finally hold up three fingers when I ask you how old you are and Keisha, you are not sad anymore about turning three. JT says that this is a typical female response about getting older *evil eye*...

I have had a great deal of mood swings in the last week. This has been the most that I have had in several months. I really cannot put my finger on one thing that has caused the mood swings. Some of it stems from financial concerns, crap at work and communication issues at home. The one thing I do know for certain is that I need to get back in the gym. Not just to get into physical shape but also for my mental well-being. When I was working out consistently for three weeks straight, I saw a drastic positive change in my mood and presence. My muscles ached terribly but it was tolerable. I was not as impatient with JT and the twins and I was more active at home. I miss that feeling. Now to get the motivation and get up early enough in the mornings to work out before my shift starts at work. Thankfully, the gym is in my building. I have a locker with all of my shower goods so I can freshen up before my duties begin.

That is my goal for the week.

I need that feeling back because I hate feeling down like I do right now.

I love legacy names, but my family seems to think otherwise. Only my little brother is a junior.

There are only a few minutes left of my 29th birthday. I had a lovely day with my family. The day started off with JT making breakfast for us... pineapple pancakes, turkey sausage and eggs. Yummy. We had a long nap in the afternoon and in the evening we went to Red Lobster for dinner.

As I suspected, there was a long wait... an estimated time of an hour and one half. We grabbed the pager from the hostess and waited in the van. The temperature seemed to be dropping by the hour so we definitely had the heat pumping while we waited. JT and I helped the time pass by singing children songs to William and Keisha, counting to 10 in every language we knew and singing the alphabet. Before I knew it, the pager was vibrating in just under 45 minutes.

We had calamari with veggies and jumbo coconut shrimp for appetizers. I took Keisha to the restroom, came back and there was only one shrimp left. I was thinking to myself, what the hell? JT looked at me and said, "Your son at it all." Note: whenever the children do something that we don't like... we say, "your son/daughter did it." I made sure to grab the last jumbo shrimp. Suprisingly Keisha and William liked the fried calamari and veggies. I am truly amazed at how fast my children are experiencing some things compared to myself as a child. I didn't even think of eating squid until I met JT at age 23. But wait a minute... even then I was tricked into eating it. He told me it was fried onions... and only after I confirmed that I liked it is when he told me it was squid. And here my twins are... at age 2 eating squid, shrimp and they even liked the crab legs.

I upgraded to WordPress 2.1 last night and I immediately got the following error:

I have been googling the term SELECT cat_id, cat_name FROM and also researching the forums at http://wordpress.org/support/ to no avail. I found my threads that discussed the situation but none of the suggestions such as this one have worked for me yet. I will continue to research.

I was asked to cover an important meeting on Tuesday. This will probably be my most important one thus far. I worked on it most of today and will work on it all day tomorrow as well as Monday. I hope to make a bar graph to display timeframes, maybe a spreadsheet or two and several exhibits to strengthen my arguments.

JT handled some important business today and I am thankful for that. We had Lee's chicken for dinner. You must wonder when I cook... I wonder too. And speaking of Lee's chicken... I can't believe that this major franchise does not have a website *gasp* Ten years ago a company could get away with such nonsense... but not now. This evening we watched Tuesday's episode of American Idol (recorded on Media Center) and the twins watched Dora the Explorer and Backyardigans. Now the family is sleeping peacefully and I am... I really should be in bed.

Happy Birthday to the number one Aunt in the universe.... Dorothy. I call her Aunt Dot. William and Keisha call her Aunt Dot.

I love her with all of my heart. My mother's sister... Aunt Dot is my second mother in my heart.

I wish I could have seen you on your birthday Aunt Dot, but hopefully I will see you next Thursday on Thanksgiving. The twins and I look forward to seeing you. Hugs and Kisses.

Happy Birthday to my sugar bears. On this day two years ago, Tuesday, September 14, 2004, William and Keisha were brought into my life.

It is hard to believe that you are two years old now.

I am happy to see that you like the gifts that your dad and I bought you... ABC - 123 blocks, two baskets of play food with play pizza. Don't worry, more gifts to come at your birthday party on Saturday.

I look forward to having many play meals with you like I did with your Nana and Dot.
