Answer of the Day

Today JT took William to the doctor for the blood type and cross. Tomorrow William will have his fourth transfusion, third scheduled one. I will be taking William in for the scheduled transfusion. Fortunately it is my scheduled off day. JT said that William is getting much stronger... while the nurse attempted to draw the blood, William put up a pretty good fight. Other than his resistance to IVs and other sharp objects, William has been doing great. His health has been excellent and his hemoglobin count has been stying in the 9.0 - 9.8 range. I remain thankful for everyone's prayers and that William has a strong support system with JT and I, family, friends and an excellent staff at the hospital.

I got sick on the bus today while I took Keisha to daycare. This started off by me getting very hot. I began to peel my layers off, starting with my jacket... but I remained hot. I began to know that something was wrong because everyone else was bundled up (including my daughter) but I was hot. Then I became lightheaded and felt that I was going to faint. I began to worry because Keisha was with me and I didn't want anything to happen. I then asked the busdriver to let me off the bus. The busdriver and riders were very kind to me. He asked me if I needed any assistance or if I wanted him to wait for me. I said no. I didn't know how long I was going to be feeling sick so I didn't want the bus to wait on me. We were in the Soulard area, I looked around for a bathroom, but nothing was open in sight. I walked two blocks up to a bus stop that had a bench. I called JT and explained what happened... or at least I tried to. JT then called his sister and L picked Keisha and I up about 20 minutes later. My health was back to normal later that day, but I remained tired.

After thinking about what happened this morning, JT thinks that I had an anxiety attack. I think he is right.

The stress level is way too high.

On to the Answer of the Day:
