I Just Had to Share This One

Monday night, while JT and I got William and Keisha ready for bed... William looked up in my face and said, "You amaze me." I was nearly speechless and ...amazed myself that my three year son could articulate such a statement. I paused, looked in his handsome face, thought about all that he has gone through in his three years of life and said... "William, you amaze me." He then smiled, and we continued with the getting ready for bed routine. We got William and Keisha dressed in their pajamas, walked to their room and placed them in bed. Keisha and William then led us in our prayers.

These are the types of things that my children do that keep me going. I have been extremely stressed for a while now. Sometimes I barely know what day or date it is. We have had a lot of family things going on. My own health is kind of bleh these days. And I really do not care for my job (but of course thankful for the paycheck) nor many of the events that are taking place at my job. Despite all the crap going on, I can count on William and Keisha to bring a smile to my face or make my heart melt with something that say or do.

Where would I be without William and Keisha?

Thanks for sharing Ronnie. I tried to go to your website but it did not load. Did you type in the URL correctly?

Rolando, thank you for the lovely comment.

Blessed

How blessed you are Nexy! I can only be so lucky to have articulated that well at that age. :)

As a father of a 5 year old

Life can be stressful a lot of times. A tight hug or a word of appreciation from our babies mean a lot. I can relate.

cheers for proud parents!

Most definitely Eaglehawk.

Most definitely Eaglehawk. The tears of joy and pain, the hugs for boo boos and a job well done, the kisses for I love you and oooh Mama, I'm sorry I did (fill in the blank)... all of these things and more are a part of what makes my children so wonderful. And like you, I would not change anything about my children either.

My daughter is always making

My daughter is always making me laugh, cry, smile and cheer me up. She is the greatest. I would change nothing about her.

Hi Melissa! Yes, there is

Hi Melissa! Yes, there is definitely nothing like being a Mom and I would not trade it for the world. I love being a mother to my twins. You have 5 children? God bless you and may the force be with you too :)

As a mother of five, I can

As a mother of five, I can relate to what you are saying. My children never cease to amaze, amuse and astonish me. They bring out all of my emotions...to the extreme!
I can't thing of anything that I would rather be than Mommy!
