I came across another Wordpress Captcha plugin that I found at: http://recaptcha.net/. It is free to sign up and the process is simple and painless.

The reCAPTCHA WordPress plugin uses a CAPTCHA to prevent comment spam and also uses MailHide to prevent email spam. I had to disable and remove the previous captcha plugin that I found because it produced errors if someone tried to comment.
