Two For One

Another Monday *sigh*… just where did my weekend go?

I always thought there should be four, ten hour work days and three day weekends. Some jobs already offer schedules like that to people. That is the schedule I want because I think I would be less tired at the beginning of a week for work. I would not even need three consecutive days off… perhaps Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday would be my take care of business day. Call the utility companies and go off about my increase in budget billing, do my homework, clean up the house and all that other good stuff. Saturday would be my socializing day and last but not least… Sunday, my ultimate lazy day; spend time with JT, watch football, a movie on satellite and take one of my infamous three and a half hour nap.

Back to reality, I work on a five day forty hour work schedule and I have to be at work in one hour and three minutes from now.

Saturday, the girls (Terenie, Jackie, Stacy and Rhonda) went out to Ruby Tuesdays to celebrate Tiffany’s birthday. We had a great time gulping down their two for one special on drinks. Let us see… I had two mudslides and a mango tango margarita. Mudslides, I already love, but that margarita was no joke. For about five minutes, I just held my nose over it to enjoy the aroma of mangos and tangerines. I was simply divine! I swear they took extra time to fix our meal because they wanted us to order more and more drinks. It was funny at first, but then I felt myself getting hungry and evil. I ordered something simple; the buffalo chicken tender platter (hot). Since I was loaded on liquor, I found myself barely nibbling on the food… so it was almost guaranteed that I needed a take home box for my meal.

We had a great time throughout the meal, talking about people in and outside of the restaurant who looked weird and scary (it was the liquor that made us do it, I swear lol) and a young girl with red curly hair in front of us in booth whom Tiffany and I nicknamed Annie. Out of nowhere I started singing, “The sun will come out… TOMORROW” and “It’s a hardknock life for us…” We were cracking up nonstop. She really did look like Annie.

On the way out of the restaurant I grabbed two coasters. I did not consider this stealing. They are only cardboard coasters and probably only cost the restaurant less than a penny. I grabbed one for JT, because it has the Rams football game schedule for 2003 on it. About an hour later, at Tiffany’s house:

Me: “Awww shit, I forgot my food at the restaurant.”
Terenie: “Where did you leave it?”
Me: “At the table.”
Stacy: “That’s what you get, your ass was worried about stealing coasters.”
Me: “SHUT UP!… Daaaaaang.”
Tiffany: “That ain’t shit, I forgot mine too… I always forget mine.”
Me: (I briefly chuckled at her comment then immediately thought about my food again)
Tiffany: “Don’t worry about it, get to drinking!”

Then I began to drink my amaretto sour that she made for me… but the back of my mind I kept thinking about my hot buffalo tenders.

Yesterday, the Rams beat the 49ers… and the Cardinals lost again *sigh*. I topped the Sunday off with a lovely baked chicken dinner with angel hair pasta and steamed vegatables. JT and I dived into the meal while watching the season finale of Sex in the City and the HBO new series, Carnivale. Sex in the City was great (as usual), I could not believe Samantha died her poon rofl… and I was ecstatic to see Steve and Miranda get back together. On the other hand, Carnivale, was not as good. This show has potential, but most of the hour premiere was dry and drawn out. We shall see what happens in future weeks.

I shall post Monday Mission a little later when the questions are up on the site.

[edit]

It amazes me how people read too much into what you say sometimes. I find it extremely annoying when people do this to me. What are people thinking, that everything I say is a challenge to you? Listen clearly to what I am saying before you respond with a idiotic comment.

In recent news, a man has been arrested in death of Venus and Serena Williams sister, Yetunde Price. Full article here

Oh my goodness, exactly what kind of search query is this and how did my site come up as a result:
