Top 10 Things I Like to Do Alone

1. Listen to music. Generally speaking I like to listen to music by myself because I have control of what I listen to and how loud the volume is.
2. Read. I am not an avid reader these days *sigh* but when I do read, I do not like any interruptions.
3. Shop. I like to shop by myself because I can shop as long as I want and buy what I want, without someone saying things like, “Do you need that?” or “Are you done yet?”
4. Shower. Unless I am feeling romantic, I like to shower and bathe alone. I love my ME time.
5. Research. I often find it difficult to do intense research in a group setting.
6. Housework. So yeah, I am not the cleanest person on the block, but yeah when I do housework I rather do it alone.
7. Cooking. Yes, this is separate from housework. I do not like someone telling me that I did not put enough of such and such in the meal or I need to put something else in it. Are you cooking?
8. Pray. Sometimes it may be appropriate and comforting to pray with loved ones… but I generally like to pray alone.
9. Napping. I like to nap alone because I have control over when I want to get up or if I want to bum around longer.
10. Writing. I cannot get the creative juices flowing with someone over my shoulder.
