Things Weigh Heavily On My Mind
Today was a not-so-bad day, but I severely struggled to stay awake. I didn’t get much sleep because things weighed heavily on my mind and when I did eventually fall asleep it seemed as if I only slept for fifteen minutes. I woke up late due to a technicality with my Bose alarm clock. Thankfully, at work there was an afternoon meeting that didn’t apply to the new hires (me), so I had plenty of time to catch up on my sleep *grin*. Other than that, we’re getting even more behind on our recorded shows, so I’ve decided to take somewhat of a break in recording them. To me, it doesn’t make sense to keep recording things when we have no immediate intention on watching any of the shows. I suppose that we’ll catch up in the summer when all of the repeats start.
While I was at the new Shop N Save by my house, I called my mom and she told me some bad news. Mrs. Madison died in a car accident in Florida. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Madison family. Mr. and Mrs. Madison were killed in a car crash yesterday in Florida enroute to home in Kirkwood, Missouri. Mrs. Madison was a walking counselor at my alma mater, Kirkwood High School. A lovely woman we have lost, I am truly saddened by this tragedy.
