Some days like today… I really want to get Far Away. Figuratively and Literally.

We both keep saying that we wish that we could go back to those days when we played with each other just because. The days when we stayed up all night having a philosophical discussion or bummed around all day playing Zelda, only getting up to eat and go to the bathroom. Where did those days go? They nearly seem like a fading shadow in the field. You know I do not have a good memory anyway so I am trying to hold on to whatever I can.
On days like today, I sit in the rocking chair in my children’s room (by the way, why are they still cleaning up… it has been an hour!) and I listen to one of my favorite songs by Kindred the Family Soul. After listening to it about five times, watching the video two times and writing some of my thoughts… I am feeling a lot more calm than I was an hour ago. Breathe in Breathe out.

Rest in Peace Luciano Pavarotti
Opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti died yesterday at his home in Modena, the city of his birth. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer and passed away at age 71.
According to CNN.com, Bono of U2 released the statement:
“Some can sing opera, Luciano Pavarotti was an opera. No one could inhabit those acrobatic melodies and words like him,” Bono — who noted that U2 wrote “Miss Sarajevo” for Pavarotti — said. “He lived the songs, his opera was a great mash of joy and sadness; surreal and earthy at the same time; a great volcano of a man who sang fire but spilled over with a love of life in all its complexity, a great and generous friend.” Source
The statement is very passionate and seems straight from the heart.

Looking Forward to the Next Chapters of Trapped in the Closet
According to MTV.news, “to answer the question of all the fans who want to see more of Sylvester and all the “Trapped in the Closet” players, there is more to come. The next chapters won’t be included on Double Up, but there is a DVD coming out in July that will continue the R&B soap opera.”

This is where R. Kelly left off at Chapter 12:
If someone told you what the plot of Trapped in the Closet is, it may sound very silly but I have to admit that they are very entertaining and keep you wondering what the hell is going to happen next. I wonder what trouble Sylvester will get himself into in the next chapters? Will the midget be back? When R. Kelly does the country white girl voice… dear God that cracks me up ROFL. Bring her back too.
I just got a hold of R. Kelly latest album, Double Up.. so I will be listening to that shortly.
