Monday Mission 3.29, one day late.
1. Have you ever been in a situation where you were worried sick about something/someone and your mind played out horrible outcomes? What was the situation and what did your imagination come up with? How did it all turn out?
Yes, just last week I was worried to DEATH when JT did not come home around the time that he usually does. He did not have a cell phone, so I could not get in touch with him. I was thinking about all kinds of crazy things… what if he fell asleep on the road and got into a car accident or what if someone hit him!! I was going nuts, but thankfully he was safe and chillin with a friend :/
2. Are there any superstitions that you believe in, or just do out of habit? Do you feel like it makes a difference?
I really do not have any superstitions. AAH yes, except for splitting poles and walking on cracks. Splitting poles is when you are walking with someone in particular and a pole comes between you. I will not splite the pole, meaning I will go out of my way to walk on the same side as whoever I am walking with. And of course, if you step on a crack, you break your mother’s back.
3. Spiders, mice, insects, blood, being home alone at night…some folks I know told me that those things really scare them. What frightens you?
Snakes scare me a little, spiders suck (the big ones creep me out), roaches and water bugs are evil and beetles give me the heebie jeebies.
4. Has there ever been a time where you were too proud to ask for help? What was the situation, and did you ever finally ask?
Sometimes this happens to me when I do not want to ask for help because I think the other person will be like, “Oh Rashaan, you should know this!” So rather than face that, I will often try to do oit myself.
5. Have you ever had, or do you have In-Laws (or the non-marriage equivalent) that you just don’t like or do things that drive you insane? What are some of the things they’ve done that almost drove you over the edge?
I do not have in-laws yet.
6. It has been said that you can tell how a man will treat his wife/girlfriend by watching how he treats his mother. Do you think that is true?
Yes, most definitely.
7. Do you know any men that are just a little too close to their mothers? You know the kind, they won’t make a decision on their own, can’t do their own laundry and so on? How did that relationship work out for you? Any stories to tell?
Fortunately none of the men in my life have been like that.
BONUS: Radio, what’s new?
Not a doggone thang. I hate listening to the radio other than the MJ Morning Show, because
tations repeat the same thing over and over.
Today’s Comment Question: One of your fellow Monday Missionaries is feeling down today. Say something to lift their spirits!
Happy Happy Joy Joy!!
