Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Doxylamine succinate, Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride…

All of these are the active ingredients in my Rest Easy Night Time Liquid Caps, the Walgreens brand of NyQuil. Sometimes you just do not need the brand name of a product… I saved $5.00 by buying the Walgreens brand. Prescription and over the counter medicine can be quite expensive. I see no reason to pay $11.99 for the brand name when I can pay $6.99 for virtually the same product. The only differences are a few of the inactive ingredients. Gotta avoid the lawsuits, so you cannot have an exact duplicate of another product. My favorite off brand is Equate at Walmart… Equate has it all in the health and beauty sections.

Now some off brand products, I will just not tolerate. The number one off brand item I will not buy are Payless tennis shoes. Many of you know them as ProWings from the old school days. Those are absolutely the worst quality of shoes I have ever seen. Back in the day when times were tough my Mama bought me some of them shoes in sixth grade. Almost as soon as I walked in the school, I was traumatized by the kids… the rest is a blank, all I know is that I am never wearing them janks AGAIN rofl. But on the real, those shoes are not a very good quality, they are certainly going to tear within a week. I stick to the name brand when it comes to tennis shoes. Nike and Skechers are my favorites.

Anyway, because of my symptoms I am thinking that I have a slight case of the flu mixed in with sinus problems and a cold. We are headed towards the flu season but I will not get a flu shot. I slept most of the day away but it seemed as though the phone was ringing nonstop. Right now, we are about to watch episode ten, season two of 24. This show has some high quality drama and acting… I am so glad that they did not stop the show with only one season. The medicine is starting to kick in my system, so this entry will be short and sweet. Sudafed took care of me all throughout the day… now I want the Rest Easy Night Time to put me out of my misery while I sleep lol

Funniest and most shocking moment of the day occurred when JT and I overheard this older couple and the man sternly told his wife, “I wasted all my life with you!” First I was in shock that he would say such a thing, then I laughed really hard, then the seriousness came back to me and I was like how in the hell could he say that to her? I hope that when I am old and gray with my husband that I do not say such a thing to him or vice versa.
