Kennedy… Kennedy

Ahh. Finally it is indeed Friday… but you know what, I woke up thinking that today was Monday. And all of last night, I just knew that it was Sunday. Holidays during the midst of the work week throw everything off. Right now, I really should be catching up on some sleep but I feel like writing a bit and catching up on recorded TiVo shows (this evening I’ve cleared of George Lopez, Days of Our Lives, Lost and Smackdown). The TiVo is still nearly full with Alias, Charmed, Medium, ER, The Apprentice, X-Men (the cartoon), South Park, American Dad, Family Guy, Everybody Hates Chris, The Simpsons, House, Bones, Nip Tuck, Supernatural and Desperate Housewives. You would think that filling up a 30GB hardrive TiVo would be difficult, but nope we’ve managed to accomplish this without any problems. TiVo is the greatest.

I still need to eat dinner too. I’ll do that in a bit. The twins ate leftovers for dinner, they really dig the turkey and of course they like sweet potatoes. They also ate dressing and macaroni. Keisha likes to dance (semi) naked in her diaper and run around the livingroom like a little Ewok. She giggles nonstop while I chase her around the room. The not so good habit that she began today is grinding her teeth. I absolutely detest that sound. I much rather hear someone scratching chalkboard with their nails. Now that’s saying a lot. I tried to lightly tap her in the mouth to let her know to stop that. Unfortunately, each time I did this she gave a me a pitiful look that read, “Mamaaaaa why you do that to me?” For the sake of a headache-free weekend, I really hope that she drops this new habit quick.

Work was smooth but could have been a whole lot better if this one particular woman hadn’t called me. The fact that she pointed out something to me didn’t really bother me, but what did disturb me was how she did it. Ladies and gentlemen, a clear and easy way to piss of Shaani is to speak to me like I’m an illiterate, incapacitated, delirious fool. Don’t do that to me people. I hear that this lady is like that to everyone of a certain color. I won’t go there in detail, that’s just what I hear. Whatever, I don’t have time for that mess. I don’t care if she talks to the purple people differently than how she talks to the turquoise people. The next time she does the things that she does best… I will kindly let her know that we can’t exist together in the workplace unless we’re seeing eye to eye. One thing I will never fully stand about people is why people go around making each other’s lives much more difficult than what they need to be. You do your job and I’ll do mine better. Okay?

I’m considering applying for a different job within the same agency. The deadline is Tuesday… *deep sigh*… We shall see.

What? Another meme?

I’m the Boogeyman… and I’m coming to get you. Man, what’s up with that cat on Smackdown. He is nuts.
