I Will Finish One Day

As you can see I am no where near finished with loading all of my old 2002 and 2003 entries. In fact I’ve only done June, July, August and I’m currently on September 2002. Who would have thought that a bunch of copying and pasting would take so long. Well it really doesn’t, but it is tedious work. When I pasted all of the entries into Word, the document totaled at almost 570 pages. The file was original a text file and it loaded way too slow for my patience level.
Keisha hasn’t been all too well this week. She is still her cheerful self and the appetite is strong, but she has had loose bowel movements. Now it has got to the point that her little bottom is sore from all that overtime. She cried and cried and cried and cried while I cleaned her with a wet wipe this morning. I felt so bad. I absolutely hate it when I can’t instantly make my children feel better. All I could do was finish cleaning her up and I asked JT to bring in the Desitin from the nursery. I lubed her up real good. When JT took the twins to daycare this morning, Ms. B said that she would continue the Desitin on Keisha throughout the day. Ms. B is a great teacher and even though she caters to William (can’t resist those plump sugar cheeks), I’m glad that the twins have her took look after them at the daycare. That’s more than I can say for some other people there.
Near-sited… far-sited, I can never remember the difference between the two. Whichever one is that you can see objects close up but not far away, well that is becoming me. There was a time when I could see things from afar without problem. And folks, I’m not talking about things across the room. I’m talking about signs three blocks away or a face way down the hallway. They are becoming a blur to me. This is hard to cope with because I’m only 27!!, but I know I just need to sit down and pick out an optometrist in my health plan book. All of my computer time at work and home definitely doesn’t make the situation any better.
We watched American Idol last night and finally we were able to see Ozzie Smith’s son, Osbourne Jr (did they call him by a different name last night?) . I hadn’t seen him since the when he first made it to Hollywood a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t even sure if he made it to the final cuts this week. So when I did see him last night, I was happy to see that at least one (good) male is representing St. Louis still. I’m extremely happy about some of those unstable people getting eliminated and even one woman eliminated herself last week (or was that two weeks ago?). I have no memory people. Zero. Zilch. The twins have been blessed with my brains.
Tonight is must see TV night. Joey is funny, but I can do without him. If the TV happens to be on at 7pm on channel 5, I may watch the show. On the other hand, Apprentice and E.R. ARE must sees. In the first season of the Apprentice, I didn’t care for Omarosa, but in a recent article at CNN.com, I feel that she has a valid argument when she says that Apprentice feeds stereotypes. Even on the current season of the Apprentice, you don’t see much of the Black participants unless there is some drama involved or they are about to get fired or quit (Verna you suck)!!
