Hodgepodge of Sort

To the one I love
A year ago today
Things were on the verge of being entirely different
But here we are today
Still together
Forever
In Love.

Last week’s Friday Five:

1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not?

Depends on what I am shopping for… I do not like to shop for clothes unless my timeframe is not limited. I need about three to four hours for a good clothes shopping experience. I love shopping for anything technical anytime.

2. What was the last thing you purchased?

Some presents for Christmas.

3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why?

I enjoy shopping online only if I know exactly what I am getting. Otherwise I need to shop in an actual store to try on clothes or get that hands on experience with the product.

4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it?

I did not get any official allowance, but Papa always gave me change here and there and when I was about 12 or 13 Mama gave me about $20 a week for doing chores. Well, I guess that was an official allowance…

5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing?

I would have to say that I make some fairly wise purchasing decisions. But the first thing that comes to mind is my digital camera purchase. I love my camera, but I wish I would have done a little more research before I bought mind. Kodaks have the worst flash on the market… and unless I have good lighting conditions, my pictures come out so-so.

OHHH Snap… you all had my rollin with those answers yesterday. Quite entertaining to say the least!!

Here are the answers:

1. Yes they have a 4th of July in England… everyone has a 4th of July (unless you do not acknowledge the Julian calendar LOL). July 4th… not Independence Day.

2. One per year. Chris almost had this answer right.

3. Every month has 28 days in it… not a total of 28 days. So the answer is 12.

4. Six out in an inning… three in the top of the inning and three in the bottom of the inning.

5. No it is not legal for a man in California to marry his widow’s sister. How could he since if his wife is a widow, this would make him dead.

6. 30 divided by ½ plus 10 equals 70. 30 divided by ½ equals 60, remember to multiply each numerator and denominator by 2 to cancel the fraction out and you get 60, add 10 and you get 70.

7. If you take away two apples, then you have two. The answer is 2.

8. 60 minutes. Take one at the 0 minute mark, the second at the 30 minute mark and the third at the 60 minute mark.

9. If all but 9 die, then there are 9 left. The answer is 9.

10. Moses did not take any animals of the same sex on the ark, considering Moses was not on the ark… The answer is zero.

11. There are 12 two cent stamps in a dozen. The key word is dozen. Any dozen has twelve items in it…

I hope you all enjoyed the questions.
