1. If your life were a movie, what would the title be?
Soulmates Dissipate
2. What songs would be on the soundtrack?
This Woman’s Work, How Can I Ease the Pain, Overjoyed, a bunch of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Me’Shell Ndegeocello.
3. Would it be a live-action film or animated? Why?
It would be a live-action film with a very surrealistic feeling and mind set because this is often how I view my life.
4. Casting: who would play you, members of your family, friends, etc?
I would have some unknown actress play me, like an intelligent woman from some Sundance movie. The other cast members would be local actors and actresses.
5. Describe the movie preview/trailer.
The opening would have my character sitting in a park on a bench watching people pass by. You would not be able to see my face but the mood is calm, a little Coultrane playing in the background and I look down and start reading a selection from a poem my character wrote. As I read the poem, the people start to fade away and then the trailer fades to black.
