I love how people can get so creative with the Sims 2 characters and videos. I was looking for a J Holiday video and came across this Sims 2 video for the song Bed.

Some days like today… I really want to get Far Away. Figuratively and Literally.
I love this song and these lines represent my life so much it is not even funny:
I wanna do the things we used to do.
Say the things we used to say.
Just like everyday, all day….
I don’t wanna forget all the love we captured the day we met.
We both keep saying that we wish that we could go back to those days when we played with each other just because. The days when we stayed up all night having a philosophical discussion or bummed around all day playing Zelda, only getting up to eat and go to the bathroom. Where did those days go? They nearly seem like a fading shadow in the field. You know I do not have a good memory anyway so I am trying to hold on to whatever I can.
On days like today, I sit in the rocking chair in my children’s room (by the way, why are they still cleaning up… it has been an hour!) and I listen to one of my favorite songs by Kindred the Family Soul. After listening to it about five times, watching the video two times and writing some of my thoughts… I am feeling a lot more calm than I was an hour ago. Breathe in Breathe out.
I came across this website and created a Last.fm Wordle that shows my overall tracks with the artists’ names.
I would say this is pretty accurate with my favorite artists such as Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill and so on. This is pretty cool. Leave a comment here if you make [...]
01. What types of portable audio devices do you use?
I have a 30GB iPod Video that I named ArdiPod. I also have many walkmans (tape players), cd players and two mini disc players that I have retired. Only the ArdiPod gets action now.
02. What format of music do you listen to most often?
I listen to 128 and 192 ripped .mp3s on my ArdiPod and my PCs the most.
03. How do you get your electronic music files? (pay service [i.e Napster, iTunes, eMusic, etc.], file sharing, artist/label web sites, etc.)
I do not purchase electronic music files these days. I used Napster in the good old days. I tried the paid version of Napster and I did not care for it. About 2 years ago I purchased a couple of albums electronically on Walmart.com. I only used that because a friend of a friend wanted the album.
04. What type of headphones do you use?
At my PC, I use the Optimus Nova 67 headphones and for my ArdiPod I use the standard earbuds. There are a pair of headphones that I would love to have, but they cost $99.00 retail at BestBuy *sigh*.
05. What is currently on your portable music player that you are using?
I currently have about 1,000 songs on ArdiPod. Way too many songs to list, but I have a lot of John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and so on…
I love the latest hit from Alicia Keys. I am looking forward to her next album and I am sure that it will be as good as the others. She is so beautiful.
1. Spend time with the twins. This includes but is not limited to having our own battle royal, WWE style, reading books, drawing what comes to mind on the Magna Doodle and watching Dora the Explorer.
2. Surfing the Internet. I spend hours doing this and probably if you ask JT… I spend way too much time surfing the internet. I do a lot of productive things though… really I do.
3. Sleep. I cannot seem to get get enough of it. Love sleep.
4. Call a friend or family member. I like to keep the calls kind of brief unless there is a hot topic.
5. Researching ways to make money online. I am very determined to bring extra income in this household.
6. General reading. In addition to reading to the twins, I also like to read to JT. We just finished reading the latest Star Wars book in the Legacy of the Force series. Luke Skywalker is still the man.
7. Watching Netflix movies. Netflix is the greatest.
Opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti died yesterday at his home in Modena, the city of his birth. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer and passed away at age 71.
According to CNN.com, Bono of U2 released the statement:
“Some can sing opera, Luciano Pavarotti was an opera. No one could inhabit those acrobatic melodies and words like him,” Bono — who noted that U2 wrote “Miss Sarajevo” for Pavarotti — said. “He lived the songs, his opera was a great mash of joy and sadness; surreal and earthy at the same time; a great volcano of a man who sang fire but spilled over with a love of life in all its complexity, a great and generous friend.”Source
The statement is very passionate and seems straight from the heart.
