If you are a regular visitor then you know that things are looking a little different. After several hours of battling with Drupal errors, I was fed up. Thanks to Eaglehawk, he helped transfer all of my Drupal 6.2 posts to Wordpress 2.5 using some information that he found on the internet.
This was one of [...]

I quickly decided to repost this because the same thing happened with the recent upgrade. I made a post several hours ago before we left to take the kids over to their grandmother and aunt’s house then to the movies. I was logged out of the Drupal administration on this computer, went to missnexus.com and [...]

I really did not mean to be gone for so long, but things happen like that.
A couple of good friends have positively pressured me into posting. Peer pressure is dangerous folks.
My overall health is okay, but my sanity is always questionable. The twins are getting over a cold and *drumroll*… pink eye. JT took them to the hospital yesterday and we now have eyedrops for them. William and Keisha are doing a lot better today than yesterday. They just fell asleep to Backyardigans playing in their room. Which reminds me that I need to turn their television off because I can hear it playing now. Pablo is yelling something… or is that Tyrone?
I am tired a lot these days, but according to Kat Williams, when you are a parent you are always tired.

My current web host plan will be up in about 3 months. I purchased a one year plan with my host provider, Host Monster. I have really been pleased with their service over the last nine months. I will most likely stick with this company unless I can find a better deal. Searching for a web host provider can be frustrating at times. There are a several factors that I consider, but initially I look at cost (annual or monthly and set up fees), disk space (how many MBs of storage), data transfer (how many GBs) and database (must have MySQL). I like to use websites like http://www.webhostingchoice.com that have search tools for finding web hosts that meet your needs.
I have learned the hard way that a cheap plan does not mean that it is the best plan. Besides an affordable package with the extra features, I need quality customer service that is easy to access, responds in a reasonable time frame, shows patience and understanding and provides the correct answers. After dealing with at least six different web hosts over the years, another one of my criteria for making the final pick is that the company must have a toll-free number. And if the number is available 24-7 then that is even better. Dealing with a company via e-mail is fine, but I appreciate the convenience of being able to use my phone to call a sales, customer service or tech representative for assistance. Afterward, I would have no problem with following up with questions in an e-mail.
My web host provider has helped me a great deal since March. At this point it is likely that I will stick with them. If something changes in the near future then I will definitely do some research to find the best deal available within my means.

I first read about this free promotion tool at Entrecard.com through Shoemoney, but then was recently reminded of it by Eaglehawk. I recently signed up but decided to put up the code in the right column of this site today, after Eaglehawk told me how many visits he received because of Entrecard.
So far so good. The interface is simple but not too plain and everything is easy to follow. When I signed up, I immediately received the confirmation email.
My Entrecard is actually looking plain at the moment, but when I get some more free time then I will make one that is better looking. Now I will just sit back and wait for results on the dashboard.
If you have already signed up at Entrecard, what do you think about it so far?

I started chatting online in the mid-1990s while at Mizzou on some network that I cannot recall the name of. Then I later began to use America Online while in college at Washington University in St. Louis, to hang out in chat rooms about a variety of topics such as teens, wrestling, music, etc. Times have really changed for myself from those days.
I would say that I have grown out the chatting scene, but the popularity of social sites with free dating and free live chat remain high.

I have read about Viral Linking on several websites to help increase your Technorati Ranking. I thought to give it a try on Missnexus.com.
All you need to do is follow these four simple instructions and you’re on your way to increasing the number of links to your blog.
1. Copy and paste the entire matrix of “ViralTags” below.
2. Substitute the Host Tag and one of the “ViralTags” in the matrix with your anchor text of choice containing your blog’s URL. Please keep anchor text to a maximum of 4 words to keep the matrix size manageable.
3. When you get a ping back from someone that has your link in one of their “ViralTags”, practice good karma by copying his/her Host Tag’s anchor text (automatically the associated link will also be copied) and paste it over one of your “ViralTags” below.
4. Encourage and invite your readers to do the same and soon this will grow virally.
