A few nights ago, I took the Nyquil gel capsules as I said I would. Why I took it at midnight, I have no clue. Thankfully JT was supportive and took care of the twins while I slept most of Sunday. I really needed the sleep to get the medicine and cold out of my system. The combination of the two worked very well. I also have not noticed any negative effects from me taking my multi-vitamin late at night. I was a bit worried at first because some vitamins give you a boost of energy. On the other hand, I will try to not make an effort of taking them late, because I am pretty sure that taking your vitamins in the morning just… makes sense.
I still have this blog entry in the back of my mind that I have been wanting to write for a week now. Maybe I can get it out of my system tomorrow.
When Tee Tee brought the twins home this evening, William ran to me with his arms open. Keisha pretended that I did not even exist. The nerve of her… well I know that she did that to just get to me. So I got her back by saying, “William… do you see Keisha? I cannot find her!! Oh my goodness, where is Keisha?” And I went on and on and on for a few minutes as if I could not see her and she was right in front of me. I made it into a playful game. I am not *that* evil.
Then all of a sudden, Keisha knew that I existed and she threw herself into my lap. I said, “oh there is my baby girl,” and I hugged her. We could not have a happy ending… Keisha showed me her newly acquired habit. She looked up at me and rolled her eyes. I looked down at her and said, “umm Keisha, you do not want to roll your eyes with Mama. I just might have to knocked those back into position for you.”
Over the years, I have gradually switched from preferring video game consoles to playing strictly PC games on my desktops. Before I make a game purchase at one of the retailers or online, I like to try a demo of the game, if it is available. Phelios allows you to download games in a demo format. There are games available for PC and mac games.
Phelios provides you with free evaluations of their games. The variety of games includes sports, puzzles, tycoon games and more. I even saw one of my all time favorites, which is Mahjong. After your demo period has expired, you can decide on whether you would like to purchase the game.
I used to celebrate it more so when I was younger. My Aunt Dot was very into decorating our front porch and having an extravagant costume on. I remember one year, she dressed up as a cat that reminded me of ThunderCats. I do not seem to be very into Halloween as the years have gone by.
2. Scary or just another yearly event?
Just another yearly event and a commercial scheme to rip off parents to buy new costumes for our children and give cavities to them with all the candy.
3. Scare or be scared?
I really hate to be scared… I do not handle haunted houses very well at all. So I guess I rather scare someone than be scared.
4. Give out candy or receive candy?
I prefer to give out candy than receive candy. My candy lasts all the way up until the next year because I eat so little of it. In fact, I just recently threw away some of the children’s Valentine candy from this passed February and Halloween candy from last year. Crazy, I know.
5. This year, staying home or going out?
Staying home. I had considered going to the Missouri History Museum but JT did not seem very excited about it, plus the event may have been too old for my babies. Keisha would be too scared from all of the ghost stories.
As the twins get older, I may get more involved in Halloween if that is what they want…
William and Keisha’s aunt Tee Tee (JT’s sister) picked them up from day care this afternoon to spend time with them. What’s funny? Well, that I complain about not having enough time to myself… almost always preoccupied with the twins, yet when someone does pick them up and give me some quality time for just me or JT and I… I sit around looking silly, wondering when are my children coming home.
*Stares at the clock*
Five minutes later…
I wonder when my children will be home. I miss them.
Have you seen the movie trailer to Will Smith’s latest movie, I am Legend? It looks very interesting. JT and I saw the trailer last Sunday when we saw Tyler Perry’s, Why Did I Get Married? I am certain that JT and I will be in the box office for this one, if not on opening night (on December 14, 2007), then shortly there after.
Just a side comment. Why does it always seem that when you see a black movie, the movie theatres always show all the trailers for black movies and movies starring black stars that they can get their hands on? I just want to know.
Anyway, if you have not seen the trailer, what are you waiting on? Check it out now:
If you are interested in viewing the theatrical trailer in high definition go to: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809768369/trailer
Does this movie have the potential to be a box office hit like Independence Day did in 1996? We shall see.
Inaugural :: I am hoping that it will be Barack Obama getting sworn in as President of the United States in January 2009.
Pledge :: allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Do you remember saying this every morning in elementary school? I do.
String :: Violins. I love the sound of violins and I miss playing it. Maybe I can pick up lessons again one day.
Trot :: Grassy Knoll… actually makes me think of someone in particular. I will just leave it at that.
Fitness :: Workout routine
Cinder :: Cutting up wood for the fireplace.
Edge :: Slicing your fingers while chopping vegetables.
31 :: The age I will be in just under two years.
Blue :: My absolute favorite color.
Leather :: I have a leather coat that I have not worn in a long while.
You may have side effects from the shot with mild symptoms such as headaches and a fever after the shot, but not an actual viral infection from the shot. The bottom line is that you do not get the flu, cold or any other virus from the flu shot. Regardless, I feel like blaming the flu shot (instead of my children) that I received two weeks ago because I have been feeling like garbage ever since. That afternoon, my arm felt like crap… I could barely carry my backpack without pain throbbing in my left arm. Within a few days I caught a caught that has been whooping my ass ever since.
I am taking the albuterol sulfate and advair for my asthma. A few nights ago I took Tylenol PM for my neck and shoulder pain. Tylenol PM, I love you. I really should take Nyquil gelcaps tonight to knock the cold out of my system. I think I have a few of those left. I am just tired of all of these damn medicines. Ugh… I forgot to take my vitamin today. What will happen if I take my vitamin late late late at night? Will I have trouble sleeping? I will find out and let you know.
I started chatting online in the mid-1990s while at Mizzou on some network that I cannot recall the name of. Then I later began to use America Online while in college at Washington University in St. Louis, to hang out in chat rooms about a variety of topics such as teens, wrestling, music, etc. Times have really changed for myself from those days.
I would say that I have grown out the chatting scene, but the popularity of social sites with free dating and free live chat remain high.
You may have heard about this video by now as it is the number one video on Google Video. Titled, Hillary! Uncensored - Banned By The Media, it features entrepreneur PeterPaulreleasing the truth about Hilary Clinton to the public.
At time stamp 2:50 into the video, Peter Paul states that, “his interest in supporting Hillary Clinton was specifically to hire Bill Clinton… and concocted a big fund raiser for Hilary.” This concocted fund raiser brought in more than tens of thousands of dollars the Clinton campaign. Clinton conveniently left out millions of dollars that were donated to the 2000 Senate campaign. In 2006, Federal Election Commission, in response to a Judicial Watch complaint, fined Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign group $35,000 for failing to accurately report $721,895 in contributions from former Judicial Watch client Peter Paul.
Peter Paul does not have such a clean history himself, but I am not here to judge him. What I am trying to do is spread knowledge so people will know that the Clinton Campaign has a shady past and appears to have done everything they could to cover it up. I sincerely doubt that you will be seeing a video in this nature on any major network such as ABC, CBS or NBC evening news, anytime soon.
