Happy Halloween
October 31st, 2006
I hope you all have a safe and exciting Halloween. I won’t be handing out candy this year because JT has to work this evening. Early this morning, JT and I attempted to dress the twins up as black cats. Keisha screamed non-stop as we applied the makeup to her face. William didn’t care for the makeup either. According to the teachers at daycare, the makeup didn’t last long. They wiped it off shortly after JT dropped them off. Despite this, they did have fun going Trick-or-Treating at the elementary school that is associated with the daycare.
I put a few pictures on my flickr page.

Monday Madness
October 30th, 2006
1. Small town or big city?
Small town. I don’t mind working in a big city, but I don’t want to live in a big city. Small towns are more relaxing and less congested.
2. Do you have a favorite childhood memory, and if so, would you share it?
Anytime that I spent with my grandfather. What stands out the most is when he took me fishing once. I was about 5 or 6 years old.
3. How do you calm down when something has really upset and/or angered you? Do you swallow it? Call a friend and rant? Go in the bathroom and cry? Punch a wall? Walk around muttering to yourself, complete with scary hand gestures?
If something has really upset me, in order to calm down I must vent. Primarily I vent by talking to friends about the matter. If I am at home I will listen to music to help calm me down.
4. What attratcs you to memes?
I enjoy sharing my thoughts and experiences and reading other sites.
5. How reliant are you on computers to get through your day?
Very reliant. When the computers are down at work, there is virtually zero productioin. When the computers are down at home, there are other things that I can do… but it just feels weird not having the option to get online whenever I want.
6. In a crisis, are you calm or do you panic?
Calm on the outside, occassionally crazy on the inside.

Writing in Books
1. Do you make notes in books as you read them?
Sometimes. I also use post-it notes.
2. Why or why not?
To keep track of ideas and questions.
3. If you do, do you make notes only in certain kinds of bo
ks or all of them?
Yes, I only make notes in textbooks for school or reference books that I have in my library. I don’t make notes in books that I casually read like the non-fiction and fiction books.

The Cookie
October 25th, 2006
Do you prefer your cookies to be soft and chewy, or crisp and crunchy?
I prefer softy and chewy cookies. Like soft oatmeal cookies… *drool* Crispy cookies are just wrong… and crunchy equals bleh. Cookies are not chips, so why would you want them to be crunchy?

Monday Madness

1. Dramas or comedies?
I would say comedies… but as I think of my favorite movies, most of them are dramas. I guess I’ll take a good cry over a good laugh?
2. Your neighbor has frequent noisy parties on nights before you need to get up early. Do you confront him directly, call the police, call your landlord, join in the debauchery, or seethe quietly and do nothing?
If I know the neighbor I would confront him directly. If I don’t know him I would call the police.
3. Are you more comfortable in big crowds or small groups?
Small groups.
4. Do you prefer Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox?
Firefox. Easy question.
5. They say you learn something new every day. What new thing did you learn today?
Frontline management sucks. Wait… that is nothing new.
