Age of Mythology
April 12th, 2003
Tonight I BOUGHT a copy of Microsoft’s Age of Mythology. Yes I said, bought. I anticipate for the next three to four weeks that I will have ninety percent less sleep than normal as I will be playing AOM virtually non-stop via MSN Gaming Zone and against JT.
Meanwhile, my domain host switch to Godaddy finalized today. Big relief because I thought something wasn’t going to work at first. I still have a few kinks to work out (broken links and stuff) then it’s time to get to moving on with my projects online and offline.
My personal fears are coming true. I have found myself glued to CNN on tv all this evening. I don’t like the news; I hate the news, but I can’t turn this off. At the moment there is exclusive breaking news where CNN correspondant Brent Sadler is driving through Saddam Hussein’s hometown, Tikrit. Now the convoy is under fire and Sadler is somehow remaining calm. Why am I watching this? There is no logical point for him to drive through this town speculating that the war is over. Wait, before I turn let me read the scrolling news at the bottom. Outbreaks of SARS again. This is disturbing, I just can’t turn. Mission accomplished for the ratings department at CNN. This has to be a phase. Yeah, I’ll get over this tomorrow.

Rashaan
A very special Aquarian
Rashaan is the last of the great eccentrics. The funny thing is, she doesn’t know it. She thinks her behaviour is perfectly normal. She sees herself as a pillar of propriety and a paragon of protocol. Rashaan has strong views about every topic under the sun. There’s not a subject she doesn’t know about or a moral point she can’t pontificate on. Rashaan is entitled to be a little arrogant. She knows an awful lot about an awful lot of things. She is well versed, well rehearsed, and deeply immersed in the kind of knowledge that we lesser mortals can only dream of attaining. Thankfully, she is there to shed the light and show the way. This, she does generously and patiently, as befits a person of superior intellect. Rashaan is wise, intelligent and (thankfully) oblivious to irony.

Minute Maid Fruit Soda Valencia Orange. Mmmmm.
Is it discontinued every where in the country or just in Missouri. I really wish I could find this soda again.
Spring Forward
April 6th, 2003
Sunday. The gloomy weather matches my mood perfectly. From 80 degrees to 40 degrees within two days; how does that work exactly? My
mama called me this morning and told me it was snowing in Kirkwood! She only lives about twenty minutes from me. Here, well it’s just
raining. Hello Spring, where are you?
Fortunately, I remembered to set the clocks back. My

smart enough to do it themselves. My desk clock was still set on daylight saving time from last year, other than that I set my

United States (Arizona, Hawaii or Indiana) where you don’t have to
worry about springing forward or falling back.
For only the second time in my life I was awaked during the Spring forward change. The other time was during high school and my
friends and I were out at Denny’s after the Winter dance. This was too cool to me
because we gained an hour for hour curfew.
I’m in the process of moving missnexus.com over to my new webhost and domain host. So if you see, “Page cannot be displayed,” don’t
panic. Shaani.com (work in progress) and Missnexus.com will still be around.
Friday Five
April 4th, 2003
1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Eight.
2. Which was your favorite and why?
The one on Aldridge Street was my favorite because I grew up there and that’s where my Papa was.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Extremely stressful, because I wait until the last minute to pack. It starts out very organized, each box is nicely packed and labeled
‘Kitchen Stuff Here,’ but then when it comes to crunch time, I start throwing random things that happen to fit in a box, pack, tape and
go.
4. What’s more important, location or price?
Location.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
Small movie theatre, bowling alley, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, basketball court, internet networked throughout the entire house,
darkroom, editing room, entertainment room, at least five main bedrooms, two guestrooms, tennis court, bathroom in each main bedroom,
full bath in basement, bathroom in between the two guestrooms, full size bar in basement, big screen televisions in master bedroom,
entertainment room and basement, elegant dining room, living room, three car garage…. I could go on and on.
Go shizzolate a site, thanks Adam :D
I feel like wearing and outfit, so I can show off my camel
toe today. How about that Jake?
